IGG | Internationale Geotextil Gesellschaft mbH is a forward-looking, medium-sized company which is part of the Roess Nature Group. We supply organic geotextiles from natural fibres such as coir fibre, jute, straw and combinations thereof as well as different versions of gabions, river mattresses and rockfall and avalanche protection. Our customers are companies from the sector of landscape gardening, road construction, underground and hydraulic engineering as well as building material suppliers, municipalities and public authorities.

Sustainability of the environment is our main concern, and as manufacturer of products from mainly natural fibres we not only protect our future and life on this earth, but at the same time ensure continuity of our business.

The quality of our performance also depends on our partners and suppliers. The production technology of our erosion control blankets was developed by our sister company A.H. Meyer Maschinenfabrik GmbH who continually improved the efficiency and sophistication of the production lines to obtain a technical standard of the highest level.

In 1997 the history began, when the two families Neisser and Roess founded this company. Commercial trading tradition, diligence and the aim to supply excellent quality form the basis of our work. A two-men enterprise developed into a worldwide trading company with 10 employees.

Today natural fibre geotextiles are produced without pesticides by our ISO 9001-certified sister company Lanka Coco Products Ltd. in Sri Lanka and distributed to customers around the world. Another production plant is located in Twistringen, Germany and a large warehouse is situated in Schmallenberg, Germany.
