HydraCX² is a hydraulic erosion control product made with a proprietary blend of straw, reclaimed cotton plant material, tackifiers and polymers. In Europe, HydraCX² is exclusively being sold by IGG Internationale Geotextil GmbH.

HydraCX² can be applied with conventional hydroseeding machines. The one-step application brings out seed, fertilizer and HydraCX² at the same time. Users have a large benefit from the simple and rapid filling of the hydroseeder.

The germination of the seeds and an enhanced growth of grass and herbs is supported. Studies show that the development of the vegetation is 5-times higher compared to erosion control blankets.

The beneficial carbon-to-nitrogen (C:N) ratio, improved adhesion on the slope and the beneficial water balance are only a few of the advantages of HydraCX² compared to conventional mulches.
